1) All users of the village website are able to see all calendar entries. You can change many of the view settings to taste, and search for events. If you have the display set to 'Year', any day which has an 'event' will show a black dot. Clicking on an event may open a window with more information.
2) Any organisation that wishes to add events to it needs to obtain a username and password from us. Use the Contact form for this.
3) To add events, you have the choice of one-off events - 'Add', something lasting for a given period such as a week - 'Duration' or a repeating event - 'Periodic'.
It is best to leave 'default' colours in place unless you have a really fancy idea, but DO ensure that the colour you use allows folk to actually see your announcement!
I would ask that you keep your actual 'day' entries as concise as possible to allow for any others who may wish to use that 'day' (how dare they!!). You can expand on your item if you wish in the 'Popup Text or URL link' box.
You always have the option to 'edit' your entry.
I cannot see a need for anyone to use the ('Optional') email form at the bottom, but it is there if you need it.
A final note - any users who try and enter their username and password by clicking on 'Administer' will have a fruitless time - that link is for us to mess around with things.....
