Trains
The village is served by two railway stations on the Southern
network. The nearest is Pulborough (3 miles) and the next closest
is Billingshurst (4 miles). Trains on this line run between Southampton
and Portsmouth and London Victoria, serving Gatwick Airport on
the way. Here is the timetable for this service. Basically trains run more-or-less every half-hour from 0606 to London Mondays to Fridays and from 0634 on Saturday with an hourly frequency on Sundays from 0725: Southbound from 0635 Monday to Saturday and from 0823 on Sundays. Billingshurst station is around 7 minutes 'nearer' to London on those times. The line to Brighton can be accessed at Three Bridges
and trains to London Bridge can be boarded there also. Journey
time to London is around 1:15 to 1:20. Fares
can be found at National
Rail Enquiries. It is worth also keeping your eye on Southern's website for special on-line deals - tickets once booked can easily be retrieved at the station ticket machine using your credit/debit card and booking reference.

Railway station and Tesco Stores and Storrington (72). On Wednesdays the Chichester service (71) runs once that day from Pulborough railway station (but not through the village).
