Home to Roost is a family run business based from our home in the lovely Sussex country village of West Chiltington. Having been passionate about home interiors and antiques from a young age a milestone birthday gave me the long overdue push I needed to follow my heart and start my own business. Having spent the past 20 years renovating various houses (and always on a tight budget!) I have always been on the look out for that extra special finishing touch and when I didn’t have my head buried in home interior magazines I would often be found rummaging at auctions, antique fairs and boot sales! I spent my pre-family career in retail and sales management and have been fortunate enough to meet some wonderful, creative people along the way who have taken me under their wings and taught me the skills I needed and so with the support of my family and friends Home to Roost was born. For the past few years I having been selling my collections through an Antique and Craft Centre in Pulborough called The Corn store, alongside that I also attend various events throughout the year and so my online store is progressively the next step. Customer satisfaction is very important to me and so I am always happy to personally answer any questions you may have. I am also grateful to receive suggestions for improvements to the site and interested to learn how you heard about us.
